Today, as I watched the news coverage of Fidel Castro's stepping down, I heard yet another incredibly stupid Bushism:
He stated that he hopes Castro's resignation will bring "fair and democratic" elections to Cuba instead of "staged events".
HA!
It warms my heart to know that our very own President wouldn't have anything to do with rigged voting. (Just thought that I'd share that little gem with you before saying, "Goodnight")! ![]()
You hit it right!
The amount of disconnect is astounding. Not just for Bush (though his is
to the point of being pathological) but for the whole party. Hah and I'll
raise you a HAHAH.
I have always wondered why Castro is so evil, when people like Pinochet,
Batista or other Friendly Dictators was so nice? Did the American friendly
dictators kill people in a more humane and libertarian way and had freer
prisons for there political opponents?
Why do Bush scream 'bl*oddy murder' about Chavez and then suck up to King
Abdulla Saud (or the Chinese, that actually still have Work brigade camps)?
Just stopping to say Happy Easter! Hope you are well!
Wow. Maybe he's under the impression we all forgot about that. That would
be predictably stupid of him.
